Chili B is the best take away sandwich shop right off the main square in Hitchin. We also dined in for breakfast and they are so accommodating. They made my husband a special breakfast at his request for his special diet while I had fluffy thick pancakes with a delicious blueberry compote. The desserts are legit, I was happy to see a perfect pecan pie so far from home. The British really know their desserts! Even if the take away line has a bit of a cue, these guys are fast and you will be on your way to your next adventure.
The best sandwich shop around. Really friendly staff, the owners are lovely and the sandwiches are amazing, when I'm in hitchin I won't eat anywhere else and always recommend them to new people to the town. Never had anything less then a 5 star experience in last 2 years. Fresh quality ingredients, made to order and full of tastey fillings.
