It's beautiful, but not recommended. People are banned from going near the water body due to many deaths in the past. You can find many danger signs put up as well. The depth of the water is unknown; said to be approx 200ft (nobody knows for sure). It's also said that the water is chemically polluted (however, I'm not sure about this claim). Some of the locals seemed a bit hostile when I visited; maybe they just hate the intrusion and interference. Many people have also experienced rude behavior from the locals (other Google/YouTube reviews). Please avoid going alone or as a couple! It's better not to visit the place only!

This place is very beautiful! The drive here is amazing with the toll roads being just splendid! The villagers are very helpful with the directions and this is just the right spot to camp out with friends and family for a wonderful meal. Please do not litter this place because it’s very pristine and clear in its nature.

This is a quarry which has been dug deep and has collected water from rain during monsoons. With a white stone in the backdrop and a lake filled with crystal clear water has given the name called Chota Ladakh. The lake is surrounded by huge rocks and looks splendid early in the morning. The view around the place is also good and that gave a pleasure of happiness for me. I was successive in my attempt to check out a place very near to Bangalore and an early morning ride was worth. Every possible route to trek below to the place was closed and alI could do was to enjoy the view from top. A ride is better to this place or even a drive in your car will be fine, but you would have to walk a little of 500 metres to reach the place. It is always better to reconfirm with villagers as every road looks same and you might easily miss the place.

Important: location improperly placed kindly search “Scenic Kendatt Quarry” in google maps it will take you directly to the base. If you are travelling by car you can park it at the base. If by bike then you can still go further. Nice place to spend during weekends , no shops nearby so carry your food and water. Visiting early morning is better to avoid harsh sun.

Went there with family, very nice and calm place to go and chill. I also recommend it as a solo trip. Its very close to bangalore and an easy getaway for a few hours. We got there by car till a point and then walked around 200-300 metres to the spot.

A beautiful place ... If you planning for a family time with long drive, I can suggest you can have a best time there \u003c3... But please do carry your own water and food if you need to spend more time... there are no shoppes near by. Kindly be careful when you stand in the end it not that safe. You do have place to trek and park your vehicles.

Mini ladhakh as they call it , there is no basis except a clean reflection of the stones and sky alike.. its nothing like visiting ladhakh though the photos say otherwise.. Its a serene, calm location in the middle of nowhere , used to be a mining site now filled with water. There is a little path (trail) made to go near the water , you can relax , dont touch the water -its said to be poisonous, there are some fishes in the water if you lucky you will spot them. P.S : don't litter. Let the place be as it is.
