We have just spent a fabulous week at Chideock Cottage, it truly is a home from home. Everything you could possibly need is provided, which with a ten month old baby was really helpful! The house is cosy and welcoming in a beautiful location. It was easy to find and easy to get to places from. We highly recommend staying and we will hopefully be back soon!

Lovely country cottage, very comfortable and beautifully presented. We love the garden too. Warm welcome from the owners includes tea and biscuits, as well as those 'little things' it's all too easy to forget, such as shower gel. Great pubs within walking distance and a very friendly village shop. As well as the wonderful beaches, market days at Bridport and the Palmers brewery tour are recommended.
We have stayed at several holiday cottages in Dorset and this one is top of the list! Immediately it is obvious that it is very clean and well looked after. Everything works well and is of a high quality. It does not feel like an over used holiday cottage that guests have mistreated. We enjoyed the garden and the view of the hills towards the sea. The little lane and track to the Anchor pub and Seatown was a peaceful path to the sea. Although the cottages are in a terrace we were in no way disturbed by other residents. The pub opposite does great pub food, proper beer and a pizza night (we did not get to going to). If available we would stay there again
