We have stayed at Warren House B&B many times and decided to spend a long weekend in chiddy nook. Chiddy nook is just as amazing as the B&B! The cottage is beautiful and perfect for either a relaxing holiday or as a very comfortable base for a walking /sightseeing holiday. The cottage is perfectly situated for Weymouth, Lyme Regis, Charmouth and Dorchester and of course West Bay (Broadchurch). The lovely hosts of the B&B and cottages have extensive knowledge of the local area and ideas for days out. Very child/family friendly, my children always want to return as soon as possible.

Amazing little cottage with beautiful interior and exterior (Make sure to be prepared with a large data plan as WiFi is patchy!) Comfortable beds along fabulous and luscious garden, customer service is excellent with friendly and welcoming management. I would highly recommend that you book a mini break here and enjoy the amazing area of Dorset.

We took our 6 year old granddaughter to stay at this delightful cottage for 5 nights to explore the fossil beaches close by. It is such a cosy beamed cottage providing everything you need for a relaxing holiday or short break. It was exceptionally clean and very nicely furnished. It has a very pretty garden providing different seating in the shade or the sun. The owners Jane and Laurie were very welcoming and our granddaughter loved her daily chats and feeding the fish with Laurie. It was a welcome treat to find milk, tea bags , home made jam and lovely biscuits on our arrival. I can't fault this cottage in any way, in fact we have booked to return again next summer with our grandsons next year.

Chiddy Nook is a delightfully hidden and beautiful cottage in a small village. Perfectly positioned less than a kilometre from the beach at Seatown, 6minutes by car to Eype beach and ten minutes to West Bay. An idyllic country cottage, Chiddy Nook is the perfect boat hole in the summer or hide away in the winter, as the wind whips up around you whilst you’re snug and cosy inside. Most excellent DVD selection and friendly host. Local services include the wonderful Felicity’s Farm shop and Anchor Inn (the food there is fantastic). Highly recommended.

We have just come back from another fabulous week at gorgeous Chiddy Nook in Chideock Dorset (Our 4th visit to Chiddy Nook). The cottage is every bit as wonderful as seen in the photos and you instantly feel at home as soon as you walk through the door especially with all the wonderful provisions on arrival. Jane and Laurie have thought of everything that you could possibly need for a charming holiday home and are the most fabulous hosts. They are only a few yards away in their wonderful Warren House Bed and Breakfast which is brilliant if you have any friends or family who want to join you for a few days. Chideock is a beautiful location with a little shop and 2 pubs in the village and a very pretty church. Seatown is a lovely walk from Chideock (approx 3/4 of a mile) with yet another pub overlooking the beach. The fantastic Jurassic coast has the most amazing walks and views with the Golden Cap being the highest point along the south coast, with the market town of Bridport, Charmouth and Lyme Regis a short drive away. If you want to venture a little further then the pretty villages of Burton Bradstock and Abbotsbury with the famous Chesil Beach and Swannery are a short drive or if you want to go a bit further still there is Weymouth and Portland then Osmington Mills leading towards Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door and then onto Corfe Castle. In the other direction from Chideock you can explore Charmouth and Lyme Regis, Seaton, Beer, Branscombe and further along Sidmouth with the charming Donkey Sanctuary. If you venture inland a little then you will come across Axminster and Honiton. There are so many wonderful places to explore and Chideock is the perfect base. To then return after a busy day of exploring to delightful and welcoming Chiddy Nook feels just perfect. If you then don't have the energy to cook then you can have a short walk to one of the pubs for dinner. We cant wait to go back. Thank you Jane and Laurie.
