Not been to leyland for quite some time but when i do i make sure i get something from there Best in leyland as always. Fantastic pies and sandwiches and the staff are great.

Can't get your order right and serve expired meat. Heard good things so was excited to try unwrap my sandwich when my husband arrived home with it. Opened it up, saw butter, he specifically stated no butter. My husband had to add salad cream to his as they forgot that. Whilst I scraped off the butter, I noticed half the ham was dry and discoloured. I smelt it and it knocked me sick, it was clearly very very off. Safe to say the whole lot went in the bin and won't ever be going back there.
Food was OK staff were OK only 2 currently allowed in the shop yet they only take cash which has probably been passed through countless hands collecting a small amount of bacteria as it goes from person to person when all this could be stopped by taking card payments by a card reader 20 & 1.6% so that's just over 1p or just less than 2p in 1 lost where a full sale could be lost get into modern day & stop corona spreading.
Good breakfast rolls , nice chicken breast for lunch if your on a health kick
I have never known life without the Chicken Barbeque, it has always been there and in my opinion probably always will be. I don't visit Leyland much now but having done so recently I bobbed into the shop for a hot pork sandwich. It was delicious. There was a bit of a queue but that is no surprise to me. The staff are keen, efficient and happy. It's longevity and big queues are testament to what a good job they're doing. Well done CB!
