First things first, the food was phenomenal. The chicken was tender and moist under a crisp shell. We had the Kung Pao Chicken wings, a fusion of flavours unlike any I have experienced previous. It was savory, umami, sweet, sticky and spicy all at once. This is truly an entirely new chicken experience, and one I can not recommend enough. Additionally, they made my wife and I feel safe despite ongoing COVID concerns with temperature checks and sanitiser when we came in. Furthermore, Becca our sever / chicken aficionado was courteous, explained the whole menu in excellent detail and helped us with our order with an in-depth knowledge of the menu and drinks. A wonderful experience, and in addition the wait times were near zero! Would recommend to anyone. Great work Chick ‘n’ Sours, we will be returning!
Incredible service and food today! The young lad who was front of house gave some of the best hospitality I've experienced in London. The operation was also very smoothly run with lots of delivery drivers picking up food but the team were in complete control! Great work Team Chick 'n' Sours!!
Fantastic little place which offers flavoursome fried chicken (including vegan options) and a selection of cocktails. I ordered the Vegan Mk2 which was a delicious vegan chicken-style pattie served on a bun with sriracha mayo, along with Bang Bang cucumbers which were a refreshingly cool side. The staff were extremely accommodating for our one-year-old child, offering us a highchair and supplying baby wipes and a bowl of hot water to warm baby's meal. We will definitely be returning!
I’d gone here a few years ago and really enjoyed it so decided to go recently again. I booked over the phone but when I turned up and it seemed as though they weren’t even doing proper table service. We were shown to a table and served drinks in plastic cups and our food came wrapped to go and on metal trays. I understand that currently some restaurants are operating differently but I wish I was warned about this over the phone as if I had known I wouldn’t have gone. I would have preferred to get that as a take away meal rather than a Saturday night dinner. The staff were nice however the service was very slow.
