We had an excellent day at Owls About Town with Andy giving us a brilliant tour of his Parliament (not forgetting Fred and the Kookaburras!) Andy is an expert and extremely passionate about what he does, and we loved learning all about the birds. My mother's favourite was Hazel, the European Eagle Owl, pictured below. We would defiantly recommend this experience to anyone. Andy's love, knowledge and respect of the birds was inspiring.

My husband organised for us to go on my birthday to Owls about Town, and I have to say it was an amazing day. I loved every second of it, and the passion from Andy about the owls is truly heartwarming. Getting up close and personal to these birds was superb, and even better was that it was just my husband and I there rather than a big group of people. The birds are so well cared for, and it was great to find out more about them all. I can't recommend this place enough for anyone who loves owls, and also birds of prey.
We visited Owls About Town yesterday as a family and spent a wonderful couple of hours being shown around by Andy, benefitting from his passion and knowledge. There are all kinds of birds on site, small to large, and we were given full information about all of them. There is plenty of space, and all of the birds are clearly really well cared for. It was an amazing experience, and we would be happy to recommend it most highly.
What a brilliant place. We went for my son's birthday and he loved it as did the rest of us! Such a wonderful place that does such good work.
Can't recommend this place highly enough! The staff are clearly passionate about the welfare of the rescued owls and hawks. Andy, Zie and other team volunteers are lovely, friendly, very knowledgeable and enjoy taking the time to personally show you around introducing each bird like an old friend. We were offered drinks without charge and the opportunity to take part in an owl and hawk flying. Will definitely return.
