Ordered and collected food. Wild boar and venison burger with bacon and brie. Top notch nosh Lovely big chips. Almost too many but I struggled on and ate them. Rude to waste food Lemon cheesecake for dessert Will be back soon

Nice old pub, food was priced well and portions were good. Slightly disappointed as the server seemed a bit rude at times but I think he was busy. Found this pub through the gluten free blogger but they only had vegan options on the vegan and GF menu, front of house staff didn't seem to know what was GF and what wasn't which didn't inspire confidence, however when the meal came we were surprised by some GF bread with the soup. Ended up ordering from the normal menu so it wasn't anything specialist for GF. Overall worth a visit as food was nice
Interesting and popular low beamed pub. Good of well priced dishes, large portions. Make sure to book. Starter of salmon was sufficient for me, and partner had lambs liver, bacon and extra gravy. Will definitely go back when in area.

Take away tonight was the best fish and chips I 've ever had ... amazing service .. thank you so much .. Will differently use again.
