Excellent eating experience.. from walking in the door and being greeted by employee (CARLOS EL CALEÑO), seated and drink order was taken within the first 2 minutes. Food was served hot and on time!!! A Colombian carnival of flavor was the result of every bite taken. The way the actual place is decorated is like if we were in another dimension! Why? Because we felt that COLOMBIAN SPIRIT around us the whole time... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I haven’t been here since before quarantine started but I randomly thought to myself today that I HAVE to go get some fried plantains from Pueblito Viejo. I’m craving them. Everything here tastes amazing, especially their fried pork belly and seafood dishes. The rice and beans are flavorful and, as far as I can tell, authentic and well-seasoned. The atmosphere is super fun and festive, and they do a good job of cleaning. Being here feels like I’m in a cozy, lively neighborhood in the heart of Colombia, with its plentiful and colorful decorations and upbeat music. The staff are friendly and attentive; always making sure you have everything you need. It’s a small family-owned business and you can tell they really care about quality. Pay no attention to the negative reviews left by people who don’t understand restaurant etiquette; almost all restaurants have last call for the kitchen about 30 minutes before closing. It’s unreasonable to show up with a big party right as the kitchen closes and demand full service. Maybe ask nicely if they can make an exception, but if the restaurant says they can’t accommodate you, it’s for a good reason! Equipment breakdown and deep-fryer cleanup take forever. Don’t be rude to the people doing their best in these difficult times. Not okay. Anyway, highly recommend this place. Give them a visit and make sure to try their sweet, crispy, perfectly-golden tostones or their flaky yucca fries!

This is one of the best places for a veggie burger. They take 15-20 minutes to grill but the burger is worth the wait. The wide variety of toppings and the sides will make your meal much better. we will surely order more again..
