You want to know the first place I'm going next time I come to Chicago? Papa Cache Sabroso! Jibarito chicken with the PR rice made my taste buds dance. Started looking for a recipe right away to make this at home. May make special trips for this.

Papa Cache has always been my favorite puertorican food spot for 20 years. This is the type of food that feeds the soul. The jibarito is my favorite. The garlic sauce they put on top of the plantains is rich and flavorful. The sauce inside the jibarito? Immaculate.

All I can say is YUUUUUMMMMMMM!! My girlfriend has lived in H.P. her entire life basically, her parents live right across the street, so I eat here as much as my body will let me. Only gripe is the place is way too small. Expand owners, please... You would be millionaires. Thanks for showing me this gem babe.
