As a post transplant patient I am sad to say how disappointed I am with Northwesterns transplant team. From waiting days to get call backs to not getting return calls at all. Then getting referred to another doctor for something fairly serious and having to wait 6 weeks because transplant didn't take the time to contact said doctor/department. But 1st having issues getting anti-rejection medication before leaving the hospital that was covered by Medicare part B and transplant completely oblivious to this. I have found that Kolver Transplant Center at Northwestern is not patient friendly on many levels. If all my doctors were not at Northwestern I would move my post transplant care elsewhere.
