I love this food truck! They just recently added a tofu option and every time I see the truck at the University of Chicago, I want a spicy tofu rice bowl with a fried egg on top (perfectly cooked, by the way). I highly recommend.
Hands down, the freshest, most flavorful cuisine I’ve ever had. Fast service and friendly, kind people. If I still worked nearby, I’d be going every day.
We had Chicago Lunchbox cater during COVID for a socially distanced team of 45 people. They prepared individually packaged meals quickly and onsite. Our entire crew absolutely loved the meals and even took meals to-go. They have an excellent selection of Asian fusion dishes that taste as good as they look. The crew loved the whole food truck experience and the idea of getting food hot off the grill. The owner, John, was very hospitable and even gave us some extras to go with our big order. The two cooks were so nice and very fast. Pricing was reasonable, too!
I would say I'm good judge of Asian food. Not the biggest fan of fusion but there is a solid option in the Loop!
