Italy has again showed me that in the middle of nowhere can you find a bright strong beacon for your dining. Great ambience in this rustic building and friendly professional service. The place is this Friday night almost fully booked, but still running smoothly with everything at the right time. A nice and interesting wine list and their knowledge of it to start with. Short and precise menu! Then the dinner that was prepared and cooked in a way to bring forward the ingredients own delicious taste. And yes, the portions may not satisfy a hungry lion, although more than I can handle. In balance to my positive experience shall I say one thing that could be used against them, but easily avoided. Depending on the menu (preparing of dinner at the table) could the seatings on upper section (if windows are closed that is) have a somewhat extra experience of the dining from lower level. I anticipated this and they managed to change my seating to the lower area at a early stage. So therefore another extra point for great service. I'll be back. I hope:)
