So much fun! My friends and I went on kayaking route D today. There were only 6 people total and two wonderful, funny, helpful guides who spoke excellent English and really made our day special. We each had single kayaks. The river was very calm. We didn't see any other boats on the water. Very quiet. There was just enough current that you don't need to paddle much but it feels totally easy. Might be fun to be more rapid, but in the dry season, options are limited. Our guide Joe told us route A was a lot of fun in wet season, more exciting. I'm so glad I went on this tour! Really nice to get out into nature. We saw many birds. Our guides weren't especially familiar with the English names for birds so study up beforehand if that's something that interests you. We saw lots of myna birds of course and three brilliant Java Kingfishers. Some kind of eagle and many other birds I don't know. Take a snack though! Lunch is delicious but not until after 2:00.

It was fantastic outing experience! I absolutely recommend Chiang Mai Kayaking.I was on the trip #D couple days ago and turned out a memorable day. It was a fun packed day Kayaking with Chiangmai kayaking team.I had never expected to admire Chiangmai in this beautiful way as I mainly rely on land transportation.Paddling down the Mae Ping river and enjoy stunning views along the river side was like living a dream! We were pick up by a truck from the heart of Chiangmai city and headed north to start our fantastic kayaking with the help of expert Chiangmai Kayaking's staff.We were fortunate enough that it wasn't too hot today.The water was natural clean(I didn't took any sip because water bottles were provided) The current was quite and calm,but powerful enough to drang your boat floating down the river. I didn't feel any bumping during the trip, as it's maybe due to it not being rocky and was pretty deep but you could feel the underneath surface once you jump off the boat.I made a new friend with Bill Parsons whilst we were paddling,his supper friendly character made the trip even more memorable.Moreover, floating down the river made me realize more the value of the water.

Well, I couldn't wait to go adventure with you all again and in the near future! I now discovered that Kayaking is great way to connect our souls into spirit of river flow! I listened to the oriatation deeper this time as I didn't want to fall off again.Oh! I actually arrived the office before time and was helping with the required gear. Aidan suggested I leave my bike at Chiang Mai Airport plaza, this helped to avoid the busy traffic back and forth. Leaving my bike at Chiang Mai Airport plaza was very secure and safe-Great advised! Overviews about Mae Wang paddling route, I would define this route as not extremely rocky throughout the route. Down stream floating angle was around 1 - 2 degrees with some part about 5 -10 degrees. Water level was around 2 and the current speed was unknown. Water was in grey in colour with solid clearance. Water temperature was about 23 c. There were millions of \Eddie out\ during the floating down stream because there were many conditions we needed supervision from our instructor. Tree branches were shaded cover the river mostly. We then, stopped for lunch at the Joint river between \Mae Wang\ and \Mae win stream\ at this paused break point I was surprised that water at \Mae win stream\ were much cleaner and warmer so I assuming the warth of water must related to the origin. Can't wait to find out!

Hi, fantastic ride yesterday with CMMB&K team. Initially booked for a 15k ride with our 2 children 6 and 8, we ended up doing 30k as Art / Sakchai and their driver Ton managed us very well, keeping our kids focus and motivated all in a very friendly yet professional atmosphere. Would recommend any family visiting CM to join. Fun, good exercice and nice people to be with ! First class
