Whether you're looking for a Martial Arts class to learn self defence or to get yourself fit, Chi Wai is the perfect place to go. I've been part of the Chi Wai family (and it really is a family) and it's a decision I've not regretted. The academy has been kept running virtually through lockdown and the efforts of Sifu Lee and the other instructors to keep everyone, across all the age ranges, progressing and supported have been incredible. If I had children, I would have no hesitation in bringing them to Chi Wai and as an adult, I cannot describe the mental and physical health benefits of learning a Martial Art; you really do need to experience it. Only 4 years till my Black Belt!

My son has been going to Chi Wai Kung Fu for over two years now and has built so much confidence as a result. The team are amazing, friendly, approachable and encouraging. When they started a new family kickboxing class, I joined myself to try something I’d always wanted to do but feared going into an intimidating club. It’s great fun and amazing fitness too and I’ve quickly gone from being self conscious and not having a clue to feeling like i do ‘get it’ and really enjoying it. They’ve gone above and beyond during the pandemic too, switching quickly to zoom classes and when we could go back into the Dojo, the level of cleanliness and discipline surrounding Covid regulations was outstanding.
The team at Chi Wai are fantastic, The switch to online learning was instant during lockdown, and also meant we all got to be involved with Charles’s training! They teach great values and my son has gained lots of confidence! I would highly recommend starting (even during lockdown) ASAP! Thank you
