it is a nice place. but they have lost their minds as far as taking cuomo pandemic directives to a next level of their own. you need to order an appetizer, a side, and a main as soon as you sit down. clearly they are starved for money. i left because the experience was unpleasant. clearly the greedy owners are at fault.

I gave Chez Oskar 4 stars because the French Onion soup I ordered was luke warm when served and so was the tomato soup my daughter ordered. I thought the menu was pretty diverse and had delicious choices. I would return to this restaurant and definitely recommend a visit.
With the outdoor dining experience considered, the service and food was exceptional. My plate stayed warm under the heater place above my table, and the furnaces were well placed to keep the tent warm as well. It was definitely worth sitting outside to eat in 30 degree weather.

Had brunch yesterday and sat outdoors in the plastic tent. Overhead heater was provided to keep us warm. Lamb burger was the biggest hit of the day followed by Coquito. I thought the pay for drink based on temperature prices was a cute idea. Looking forward to another visit when temperatures are warmer.
