A truly remarkable experience of French \Cuisine\, with traditional dishes from Lyon. Food was so delicious and staff is very welcoming and nice. The area is also beautiful. The restaurant could appear a bit small, but when the weather is good it nice to have a meal outdoors!

Simply outstanding. 5 course meal for around 20 euros with amazing service is a must go. Order their course meals, but not single dishes. Is need to translate - use Google pictures or compare menus with English translation. Food seriously delicious. All Lyon based meals. Might be better to book table on a busy weekend. Service is amazing, if you run out of water or bread - it will just appear in front of you in a minute.
Well it's very much home style French cooking at it's truest form, and so delicious! So much of it you get for the price as well, honestly, we were stuffed!! You must simply try this place out, especially if you are on a budget. I loved it and will be back again!
Delicious local menu at reasonable price. Waiters speak basic English that really helps in local specialties understanding.
Dinner in Lyon. The menu was in French with a bit of English translation in one page out of the whole menu book, which a good sign thag this is not a tourist trap. We had the Lionese menu (set menu) that includes an appetiser, main, cheese, and dessert. They have 4 group of set menu with different prices. I chose the 20.50 ones, which was the meaty ones, while he had the 18.50 ones, which was the seafood option. It was not only the yummiest food, but also the best service of a casual restaurant we ever had! The waitress were very friend and very proactive. They even try to explain the food in English even though they're struggling, which was sweet. The place is tiny, but it's cozy. The cheese options were also generous and the dessert was perfect. It was just our perfect dinner in France. One thing to remember, this place accepts cash and cheque only. No card payments.
Visited here for lunch based on a recommendation from a friend. It's a typical Lyon place. They have lunch specials, but I didn't get it because it was a saturday. I ordered the fried tripe dish, and the person next to me, ordered the Andouillette sausage. Both dishes were mustard heavy, so make sure you are aware. The food was great and filling so it was a great deal for the money. Service was great, and fast, where a person was constantly looking at my glass to make sure it was filled. Would check out the other dishes in this restaurant.
The most amazing thing you will find entering in this place is the welcoming staff!!! They were happy to help us with the menu choice(...and my bad French) in a very friendly an funny way. There are different set menù at different price where it’s possible to choose one starter, one mean dish, cheese and dessert. Every menù has its own starters/mains list. I choose the cheapest one (15) and I had a chicken liver meal in tomatoes sauce (which I don’t particularly recommend because it was not so tasty), the andouille (French sausage), fresh cheese and chocolate cake. The place doesn’t seem having a wheelchair access.
Traditional and lovely! The set-menu is great! Definitely try their cheese! House wine is wonderful.
