Visited Chez Mbombo the burger and plat du jour restaurant and bar newly opened opposite the Commerce in Bellac. It's a family run affair and it is evident that they have put their heart and soul into this venture. Nice people too. The joint has four distinct spaces depending on your mood...a formal area for dining, a casual banquette area, a fabulous spacious courtyard (a real gem) and the pavement tables and chairs. Something for everyone. The menu has burgers of all types as well other dishes and children's portions are available suitably priced. We opted for the entry level burger, I forget the name, which comes with either fries or fried plantain (I had a taster, delish!). As usual you specify your sauce and how you would like the home made burgers cooked. The burger arrives in a tasty seeded bun, big enough for a burger and a cheeky chip butty too. All the usual drinks are available. We opted for San Pellegrino water served chilled with ice. You can just go in for a drink as well, and it's great to have a buzz on both sides of the street. Bill came to an extremely reasonable 19.40 for two. They also do an excellent three course lunchtime menu for 12.50 and this includes a 25cl carafe of good red or white wine. Cheese is an extra supplement of 1.50 They've moved lock stock and barrel to Bellac to start this venture and they use local shops and producers for their food offering. So it's tasty, reasonably priced, ethically sourced, home made food. Definitely recommended if you are passing Bellac. Ample free parking is available about 50 metres from the restaurant.

Nous y avons pris le déjeuner de ce midi (à emporter) sur recommandation du théâtre et c'était vraiment extra. La patronne et sa fille sont adorables et surtout les burgers sont extrêmement savoureux (nous avons pris le végé et le poulet), les frites très bonnes, tout est maison, vraiment on s'est régalé. Je recommande vivement, ça fait du bien un peu de chaleur humaine et en plus de manger pour un rapport qualité-prix extrêmement intéressant. Merci pour cet accueil !
De passage à BELLAC, très belle adresse, bon accueil. Le veggie burger sauce piment est à tomber. Merci et au plaisir.
Une accueil formidable un cadre sympathique malgré le confinement savoir qu'un si bon restaurant reste ouvert pour l emporter juste TOP et je ne parle pas des burgers une TUERIE produits de super qualité les frites une dinguerie .. Je recommande à 100 % et de plus fond les livraisons à domicile quoi demander de mieux..
C'est mon deuxième passage et non déçu la première avec un Yaoundé (au canard) et aujourd'hui avec un Ma ding wa (chèvre et miel)Très très bon.
