Oh man! Me and my girlfriend stumbled on this place just as it started to poor rain outside and were sure glad that we did. It’s a very small cute cafe with amazing food. We weren’t overly hungry but decided to eat anyways, I had the frog legs and my girlfriend had the ceaser salad. Both were fantastic, the herbs in the frog legs were great! We finished it off with a really nice coffee, they even give you a little chocolate that melts with your coffee as you drink it! Highly recommended 10/10

One of my favorite place for dinner. The staff is kind, genuine and takes the time to serve you well.
My wife and I took a couple with us on a trip to Paris. They had never really had a honeymoon so we decided this would be a perfect introduction to the city we love. My friend and his wife had a list of foods they wanted to try while in Paris. On their list was côte de bœuf. So we searched online and found a nice looking place, Chez Margot, that had it on the menu. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised. Everything was nicely set up and despite sitting on the patio, it did not feel crowded like some sidewalk seating in Paris. The menu is varied and there is something for everyone, vegetarians included. My friend and I shared the côte de bœuf, yes it is that big about 42oz I would say, which came with Os à Moelle en gouttière (bone marrow in the split bone, also on his list),and herb butter. Of course there was the traditional side of frites for both of us. My wife had the charcuterie board and his wife ordered chicken in a beautiful mustard sauce. We also had drinks and a bottle of red with dinner. The meals were stunningly prepared and delicious. The steak was perfectly medium-rare and very tasty. The fries were crispy and seasoned just right. Not much to say about the charcuterie board as it is a typical French menu item. The meats and cheeses were all fresh and well proportioned. The chicken dish was another thing. The sauce was incredible. I mean incredible to the point we asked for more bread so we could all enjoy dipping on the plate. All in all the great food, good drinks, and wonderful ambiance made for the perfect last dinner for their trip. I would recommend Chez Margot to anyone visiting Paris. I actually thought twice about reviewing it because I don't want to wait for a table next time we go but they deserve the praise and notoriety. À bientôt!
Excellente food, good service. Highly recommended. Had the beef stew and mash which was absolutely delicious. A great place near the Bastille place.
Honestly, we just stumbled upon this place, but we had a fantastic meal here. Our super friendly server was only too happy to speak English with us and to patiently describe the menu items. I'd return without hesitation.
My husband and I visited this restaurant several times during our stay in Paris. The food was excellent and the staff amazing. Friendly and engaging. Enjoyed helping my husband with his attempts at speaking French. This place easily became our favorite restaurant in Paris. I would recommend that anyone visiting Paris looks Chez Margot up.
Excellent food and service!
Great ambiance and all our dishes were excellent. We really enjoyed the bone marrow appetizer as well as the baked camembert. My duck dish with mashed potatoes was everyone's favourite. The dinner was better than the dessert, but not a big miss. Definitely recommend.
