I was disappointed if I'm honest..with the pictures and other reviews I thought this was a really fancy place but when I got there it was more like a fancy wetherspoons and having worked in a wetherspoons kitchen i know what I mean. The food obviously isnt made fresh and it's really overpriced. 2 bowls of pasta for 24 pounds, i wouldnt have paid more than 5 each really, didnt look exciting at all..It looks like the decor can do with updating too..however the staff were very friendly. It's just not as nice as the pictures make out to be.

I arrive at this superb place every couple of days since I love the good mood that is characterizes this restaurant. The crew is highly loving and experienced. The service is absolutely fast. Most important, the food they prepare is exceptionaly good. I frequent more than once and I was always delighted. The cost is modest. I recommend this restaurant to my friends and family.

Absolutely magnificent evening. We visited on a busy Saturday evening. The service was top notch. The house red is easy to drink and fantastically fruity. The starter of blood orange salad with goats cheese was wonderful - highly recommended! The main course of braised beef with a black pudding and potato rosti was stunning. I highly recommend this restaurant for a romantic dinner.
