Fantastic specialty coffee of which there are far too few of this calibre in France. Owners/prepared by a passionate barista who sources his beans very carefully (eg Japanese via Denmark) and blends with equal passion and care. There’s a lovely back garden which is a rustic oasis amid the centre of the much more glamorous surroundings of the castle. A true gem of which there is no equivalent until Tours to the West or Limoges to the south. This is the kind of place we would drive 30 mins to get to.

This place is truly amazing. We had the best carpaccio and a delicious goat cheese salad. The fillet was also great and it had an excellent mushroom sauce. We were also very happy with the service, the food came extremely fast and they were very friendly and kind. We will definitely be back!
Fantastic! Food and service were wonderful. The salmon and fried potato appetizer was amazing! We showed up for dinner right when they opened and had no problems without a reservation. They were knowledgeable about gluten-free options.
A firm favourite! Classic cuisine, well-cooked. Try the Montdomaine wines from the owners' own domaine.
Really solid French meal for our last day in Amboise. Had the pork chop and lamb followed by profiteroles - all very tasty. Casual atmosphere with good quality and service

This is the place for dinner in Amboise. We were a party of four. We all ordered something different - all was great - the onion soup was as good as it gets. Everything was well prepared and served nicely. We were not rushed and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The wine list was first rate and offered value for the money. The toilet was clean and well maintained. Give this one a try.
