Nice place to visit and see the sights around. Kids enjoyed it and there's even a small spot to pitch up for a picnic. But it's best to get there early as it can get busy very easily. Not from the area so can't really comment on what else is around. But a nice spot to take some snaps

Nice walk upto the windmill. Lovely 360 views once there and if course it's great to see a traditional windmill up close. Nice and quiet up there and also more information posted by English Heritage about the Roman Town that used to be there in the field next to the Windmill too. Good education opportunity for kids or peaceful place to relax.
Historic object. Can be looked only from outside. Great landscape views from the Windmill Hill.
Stunning location and wonderful view. Worth a visit as it is an easy walk from the road parking and it's free!
really nice place for a walk, need to be careful when it rains as there is MUD, lots of it!! but kids love it :) Also normally very windy as it's on top of a hill. Small amount of parking spaces on side of the road.
