Sat outside in the deep cold! but a great service very covid aware. The walks on this area are stunning please go and see. The food is awesome a must have after a long walk even if you just have a coffee

Beautiful olde worlde pub with plenty of outdoor seating with great views of Hardwick Hall. The food was excellent , especially the homemade pies. A good selection of ales and lager. You don't even have to go inside and queue for your drink, there is a stable bar on the front seating area, where you can purchase a snack too. Definetlly recommend.

Lovely place had a walk around the house and fields. We only stopped for drinks but we will return for food in the future. Then I will edit my review. The food did look good.

A delight to visit and sample the excellent menu on offer. Even during these covid times service was quick even when they were very busy. Open 7 days a week they cater for young and old with main meals or a lite bite choice and caters for everyone's pocket. We had our meal outside on a lovely sunny day which was very pleasant and made it more enjoyable. Ample parking even if your out walking and maybe enjoy something on your return. Well worth a visit and it gets 5 ***** from me.

Lovely, friendly place to visit, always welcoming. Food is excellent, with generous portions and there are a good selection of beers and non alcoholic drinks available. Service was wonderful and tables were very well spaced out, we felt safe at all times and appreciate all the staffs hard work in helping to keep social distancing to a minimum.
