Had placed an order for Valentines day. I had a T bone steak was supposed to be rare came deliver as medium well done. The quality of the steak tastes cheap. As for my date she had a Sunday dinner the vegetables were undercooked, Left her chocking on it. The chicken was cooked well as a positive and the delivery came earlier than expected. But for 20 for a T-bone I expected better I could pay less for a better quality steak. Would not recommend.

The food was nice, we had four 20oz T-bone steaks where three of us cooked it on the stone and one had the chefs do it. All of the steaks were tasty but one had quite a lot of sinew but that wasn't to be helped. The onion rings were very nice and so was the peppercorn sauce. Chips were okay but could have been better. Service was good with friendly staff until the end of our meal. We had to ask two waitresses for the bill and even then we were sat waiting for half an hour after we had already finished eating. The prices were relatively reasonable for what we had, but we did go during the eat out to help out scheme.
Ordered a Sunday lunch 3/1/2021... It was just amazing... As good as what I would cook myself...very Generous portions..Lovely freshly cooked vegetables....wonderful Yorkshire puddings and the Gravy simply delicious Thanks so much for the end piece of the Beef..My favourite...would definitely order again and Highly recommend...Thanks everyone at the Galleon Steak House..(sorry no pics.. I was too hungry I forgot)
My daughter and I enjoyed it here. The atmosphere was relaxed. The service was swift and very organised. Staff were very nice, all wore masks. We were sat near the open kitchen and could see all chefs and the catering team had masks on also. The starters were good and very tasty. They are sized as a starter so you don't over eat before your main course. The steak was cooked to perfection. The main course is a good size, the sides are larger than normally given - which was a pleasant surprise, as most places serve tiny sides at an extortionate price. We left pleased that we had tried somewhere new and further out from where we live. Travelling up was well worth it.
The food is very good, the service and attitude of the staff was somewhat questionable and made the hole experience rather poor. I have been here a few times in the past and was impressed so we booked this for my 40th. Unfortunately we won't be returning after last night's poor service. We did wonder how such a business would operate during the COVID-19 crisis and restrictions that need to be in place. Put it this way I don't think it bothered them to be honest, the tables were packed, no distance between them like I have seen in other restaurants.
