Great place to go! The venue is great, it has a modernistic style with a touch of class. The people that go there are usually friendly, i got a drink knocked out of my hand and they offered to buy me another. The venue has great music, the main room as you enter plays party, chart and cheese music but more emphasis on the part and chart. If party and chart is not your thing they have a R&B room downstairs that is a little bit darker giving it that deeper nightclub feel. The venue probably has the nicest beer gardens I've seen in a 'late night bar'/ nightclub. You'll find the beer garden can get as busy as the rest of the club.

Very busy, but not a bad thing if you like that vibe. Drinks are reasonably priced. Always seem to be short staffed though, so the wait to be served is ridiculous.

Myself and friend tried to go in Association on a Saturday night. Only to be confronted by bouncers who informed us because we were “outsiders” we would not be allowed in, He continued to state “we have had outsiders come in before and all the do is cause trouble” I attempted to reason with bouncer and explained I live in Mansfield. He disregarded this and continued to refuse us entry. I guess The Association bar in chesterfield is not welcoming to “outsiders” or black people. Ended up a good night somewhere else more welcoming. Expensive but generally a good atmosphere. Can often become a little tense as the night wears on when people begin getting aggressive and causing trouble but usually nipped in the bud by the door staff (security). Feel a little cheated however when you have to pay 1 to even go inside and then a drink costs an arm and a leg - from my experience, Association is usually full of individuals who don't even look old enough to buy a scratch card let alone drink booze.
