Great selection of ales on kegs and cask. Very friendly behind the bar with two spaces for seats - upstairs and downstairs. No music or games. Highly recommended. Worth a visit if you are into your beers.
Lovely little pub, a real micropub seeing a great range of real ales and craft keg.
Great selection of cask and keg ales - the pub is all about decent beers and we were impressed with the measures in place to ensure effective social distancing.
Great little bar, the only issue for me is the cost! You can't fault the beers on offer, a good range of both cask & craft ales, but considering it's a basic bar, the prices are a little on the high side. We're not talking \top\ high street location here, we're talking just out of town, in an old shop premise, so surely overheads must be a bit cheaper? Yet prices to me don't reflect that? I have no issue with the choice or quality of the beers, but I can't help but think that the owners (and friendly though they were) are asking a little too much...just my opinion. I found equally great beers at considerably cheaper prices elsewhere in town. As an outsider I feel bad having to write this place really is worth a visit, but just be warned, it's cash only, so make sure you bring plenty.
