Had my well-being & gender scan here on the 13th and told we’re having a boy! Lovely receptionist and scan assistant (I think that’s they’re title, sorry). It would be 5* however the lady performing the actual scan was very short with us and made myself and my partner uncomfortable. I had forgot my notes and the baby was measuring smaller than should be at that size, lovely receptionist booked us in for later on in the day at no extra charge (thank you) to have the scan again and to bring my notes as proof I was at the gestational stage I said I am. We came back the second time and the lady performing the scan was still trying to dispute with us that we hadn’t had our first dating scan yet (we had three weeks prior to this), even though it was on black and white in front of her, and her assistant also telling her we had. For this reason we probably wouldn’t return on the chance she done the scan again, all the other staff members were absolutely lovely though so thank you.

Went for an early scan as we were excited to see the progress we were making. Got told everything was okay, perfectly fine etc etc. Even after my girlfriend brought up concerns of the scan and the size of the gestational sack, we got reassured everything was as it should be. Few days later we were in A&E with professionals informing us we had lost our baby and after seeing the scan pictures we showed them, told us that it was a worrying sign and we shouldn't of been told otherwise. Window to the Womb Chester-Le-Street is very unprofessional and I wouldn't recommend visiting this centre for any of your scans. That's not to say any of the other sites around the UK are bad but don't go to this one. The whole experience was bad from start to finish, laughing and messing on in the back and then coming to get us like nothing had been going. The woman carrying out the scan I'm questioning her capabilities after what she had told us, is she telling us what she thought we wanted to hear without a thought for the actual truth or does she not no any different because she hasn't got the knowledge on what she is carrying out. I honestly don't know but what I do know is that what she had told us was lies and thats disappointing. I Would rather be told what we had seen was worrying and told the truth so we didn't have false expectations and hope. Just can't understand why someone would do that. So please if you read this, go to the next nearest location or wait for your scan from the hospital.

Myself and my partner went to WTTW for a 16 week well-being and gender scan. Every staff member we met were so kind and welcoming and really made me feel at ease. We got plenty of pictures and a teddy with babies heartbeat in size and we couldn't fault the service we received and we will definitely be going back for a 4D scan

Booked a 16 week wellbeing and gender scan. Advertised 4 free photos. Due to recent house move over Christmas period we have not yet had an NHS scan. Because of this I was told the scan would be classed as an early pregnancy scan but would still receive the same service. This was not the case and I was refused my 4 photos and only allowed 1 to take away. However they did push me to try and get me to spend more money and buy the other photos - despite their advertisement telling you you get 4. Prior to the appointment. After booking other than my online bank statement showing the payment had been taken I had no confirmation of the appointment and when I called and emailed no one had any record of it. It took a lady 10 minutes on the phone searching to find and confirm my appointment. During the scan. The scan assistance and lady doing the scan were lovely. I wish I had remembered their names as they were so polite and kind.

Fantastic experience. Went today for our 4D scan at 264 and got amazing photos of our baby boy kept putting his hands over his face but the sonographer kept going until we got some fab pics! Been once previously too for an early scan at 8 weeks and both times we’ve been so well looked after. Everything is explained upon arrival and everyone is so lovely, it makes the experience so enjoyable when you can just fully relax.
