We help to develop sustainable and vibrant communities where people want to live and work We work with partners to deliver the best possible services to rural communities and we hope that we can help you meet your obligations to rural areas as a key partner. The Community Pride Awards, including the Best Kept Village competition may be our best-known project. We will use our Linked In page to draw your attention to the projects with which we are involved and to post thoughts on changes that the rural areas are experiencing. Each of the CCA projects is growing in strength as it responds to local need. Among these are: The new Crewe and Nantwich volunteer car scheme, along with the Chester and District car scheme which receive requests from new passengers on a daily basis Neighbourhood Planning, as part of the wider Community Led Planning, is becoming better-known as more communities start the process The Community Agents are increasing in number, addressing issues of social isolation and the need for up to date information among elderly, disabled and other vulnerable groups.
