Disappointed not to see Homer Simpson. Mental! Never imagined to be stood so close to Chernobyl. It’s a pretty surreal visit. What makes the experience more strange is that the danger is invisible, it’s hard to feel frightened by the dangers. A little comical that we’re only allowed to take photos in one direction for this location, directly at the moment and dome covering the reactor.

Seeing is believing, must see the massiveness of the reactor and its cover. its compulsory to wear fully covered cloths whilst this area. Cannot go near the fence for a sake of higher radiation. a photo show how the reactor looked after destruction and present with covered steel doom.
A place you must visit once in your life time. The atmosphere it's undescribable. And don't be afraid, the radiation you get won't hurt you.
Great to see all 5 reactions, to understand that 3 was in operations less than6 months after the disaster. Now to see the new procreation and the low radioactive levels. Guides very helpful and had great knowledge. This was great day in Chernobyl 10km zone and we felt very safe
It is unbelievable that i was here. Such a sad story that happened here. It is really interesting to learn about it and the organized tour is really informative and gives you the picture about the people's life here before, during and after the catastrophe. Really touching
We have been as part of our tour at this place (Juli 2017). It shocks me every moment I think about it what happened here. You cna have a glimpse at the pictures I took during our trip. When visiting the exclusion zone - don't touch anything!
Im giving this place 3 stars because its not terrible. Its not great. It feels like getting a chest X-ray for the duration of the stay.
You can get good overview of the new Sarcophagus from this point. The radiation levels are quite low around 1mSv/h, not enough to get superpowers, or super-sickness.
