Proper pub. Good ales and good, friendly staff.
I use Edwards bar next door which is also part of the same premises. They present live music acts on Sunday afternoons from 16:00 - 19:00. Most enjoyable & can be recommended.

I witnessed the owner go over to 2 members of the public who was blocking the path of a woman and her Male friend leaving the establishment. When in fact it was 2 fully grown men blocking the door way of her leaving!! I didnt think this venue welcomed bullying and intimidation. Wont be back again. Also can I state that no door men was called whilst this was all kicking off. To witness the owner allow 2 men to grab hold of a woman on her own whilst doing NOTHING wrong. I WONT be visiting again. IF I wanted to witness this I would of gone to gravity. SHOCKING
