Chequers Great Blakenham

We had Sunday lunch delivered for a 'socially distanced' family get together. There were six of us and the delivery was brilliant, the generous main meals individually packed with gravies separate. All piping hot, all delicious and ample servings. Even the grandchildren enthusiastically complimented the meal. The sweets again arrived separately packed and cool. Again all very good and ample. We can't fault the service at all. Time to do it again! Ken

Very nicely done Gastro pub. Food is very nice and home made as far as I can tell. We will definitely go back and try other dishes from the extensive menu. Looking forward to going back in all honesty. The people were really friendly. We went for a quick lunch during the week.

No crumble left so opted to have an ice cream sundae which I had seen a gentleman on the opposite table have but without any chocolate ice cream or chocolate sauce. Brought out a sundae glass with just strawberry ice cream and a wafer. The ice cream was nice and did taste of strawberries however I would not have called it a sundae and was charged the full price of a desert, 5.75. Very expensive ice cream! Disappointing.

I had a nice roast beef dinner. Probably the best I have had eating out. The staff are friendly and the premises is very clean. I will be going back again, good pubs and Restaurants are very Hard to find.
