We ordered the 6 course taster menu to be delivered for a lockdown birthday meal and it was fantastic. 30pp is an absolute bargain for the quantity of food, the taste and quality is just as good as you'd expect if you were dining in the restaurant. Thank you so much for such a great meal and fab service!

As cheesy as it sounds, I don't normally leave reviews, however I feel like I have to share this one. East India cafe in Cheltenham is the best Indian restaurant in town and the best Indian food I have ever had. We went there with my partner few years ago and had a taster menu and it was delicious, atmosphere was very warm and welcoming, felt really well looked after. We have also had their take away food, which again was incredible. Decided to treat myself to a cheeky Friday night take away and omg it was amazing, food was hot when picked up, very fresh and I was treated to two complimentary side salads, which were really nice and a great addition to my main dish, which was cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend this place to everyone, a must visit if you are in Cheltenham. Will definitely go there again and again.

We went there about 2 years ago. It was nice but they didn't do a wine pairing with the tasting so it was a little disappointing. The food was good. However there was a slight altercation with the couple at the next table and the chef where he told them to leave. Very entertaining from our side but not very professional. Went for a 'masterclass' today in which they explained how each dish was made and we were able to ask questions throughout. After each course they then served us with what had juts been made. Very interesting and worth trying.

The restaurant isn't open because of COVID, which is a real shame as it looks lovely, but they are doing home dining. It was delicious, the best Indian food I have had in a long time

Four of us enjoyed a very nice meal. It's quite pricey and there are not a lot of choices for each course, but there are lots of little extras to enjoy and the service is very good. The only negative was when we came to order dessert one of the options we asked for was not available. The wine menu was ok and reasonably priced. There is parking at the rear.
