Lovely sandwiches and a range of cakes for afters. Also have a large collection of gift bits like chutneys, mustards and jams alongside some cards. So happy to have discovered this place!

Always friendly and always delicious food. A small tearoom so can be difficult to get a table if you just turn up. They take over the phone reservations on the day though. A lovely place!

A lovely little tearoom with a good menu. When I visited for a late lunch, the service was very slow. It took 15 minutes, after being seated, to get a menu. However, the waitress was pleasant and apologised for the wait and once the order was placed, the food came quickly. The sandwiches were generously filled and tasted good.

Afternoon tea was lovely but father Christmas had no sense of social distancing. He came and sat in the pod with us and touched my grandchilds face, under normal circumstances that would have been ok but not now and i couldn't tell father christmas to leave the pod because it would of upset my grandchild. He was also standing at the back of the restaurant without his hat and beard on drinking coffee so that had to be explained too.so having paid for the pod because of keeping our distance it was a bit of a shambles

Can't fault this place, the food is good quality and huge portions, lovely service with a smile and a nice atmosphere. Every time we come it just gets better one of the best tea rooms in the country. This place is busy for a reason it does everything from cooked breakfasts to sandwiches, loads of home made cakes, salads, ploughman's and don't forget the every changing specials. Ideally located for after you've been on one of the many lovely walks around Danbury you'll have earned your cake afterwards
