Service was genuine and thoughtful. Lunch set menu delivered on taste. And looked fantastic also. Toms done a great job here And we will certainly be back for dinner.

Honoured to have been your first outside guests tonight. The food was stunning, and the winter grotto made for beautiful surroundings. We wrapped up warm, but didn't feel cold in the slightest. I will heartily recommend the staff, service, food and ambience to anyone who'll listen! Thank you

Booked a table for four on Friday with about a weeks notice. First time visit and we all absolutely loved it. The prawn starter was one of the nicest I've ever tasted and the mains (I had duck) were perfectly cooked. Portions were a good size, filling but I had room for three courses which was great as the deserts were also excellent. Serving staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was intimate and not too formal. Overall a great dining experience.

We did go for the special offer three course as advertised locally but the food was a little lacking unfortunately, having said that the staff could not have been any nicer and would highly recommend this place for that special meal.

I had a brilliant time visiting the Pig & Whistle yesterday! It is by far my favourite restaurant. It was great to see how seriously they are taking the covid-19 measures, but still maintaining excellent customer service and that cosy feeling that I love about them. The food was exceptional, I had the duck and it was stunning. By far one of the best meals I had in a long time. And the desert was pretty awesome first. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area.
