Enjoyed a lovely 3 mile circular walk. A great place to get out and enjoy some fresh air and exercise. The visitor centre and toilets are currently closed owing to lockdown #2 but there's plenty of free parking either at the visitor centre or the fishing lodge. The bird hides are still open for anyone interested in birdwatching.

Absolutely beautiful place I can’t believe that it’s the first time I’ve been there in all the years I’ve lived in Essex the trails are well compacted and I managed quite well in my power chair and took some photos to celebrate the lovely time we all had

Nice easy walk suitable for buggies and wheelchair. Takeaway drinks and snacks available. Nice wooden park for little people. Free parking and don't the forget duck food!

Grandkids enjoyed feeding the birds. The cool breeze coming of the water was such a nice relief from the heat.
