Great place for Chelmsford, only found out was there recently. Well run and good for young children.
My sons love to ride the trains there's a cafe and all the volunteers are kind and helpful. Great place to take small children on a Sunday afternoon.
Great day out with the kids and the tea room is brilliant for grabbing a home made cake a cuppa
Chelmsford miniature railway AND Chelmsford society of model engineers (who run it) is great fun. I'm a member and I help run it. Best bunch of people I've met. I love the atmosphere and our passengers seem to enjoy coming along on sunday afternoons when we are open. We have two railways operational AND some yummy cakes and tea, coffee and soft drinks. 6 rides for 5 open 2-4:30
