The llack of a system at the current time needs urgent attention. I phoned my order through and turned up at the agreed time to a queue of sorts as it’s scattered outside the shop, not knowing where my position is I ask who’s waiting to mixed responses. Then not wanting to jump the queue I wait in the rain outside. Eventually I get a bit fed up so as no one is in the shop I go in. I ask if my order is ready ( which it isn’t) and they take payment. Then I’m sent outside to wait. Some one else goes in after me but he’s barked at to get out of the shop because they’re calling orders. I continue to wait but by this time my order is 15 mins late and as I later discovered was actually ready but went cold so was reheated under the lights. People were outside in the rain muttering but unsure of what they needed to do. Someone at the door was needed to queue those who’ve ordered and separately queue those who are wanting to order. There were 4 staff visible but no one taking any control of the situation. Sure they were busy which is all the more reason to operate a system. On the upside the food was of a usual high quality but I won’t be going back and putting myself through that debacle any time soon.

Just moved here and this was our first local takeaway. Amazing food, exactly what you’d want from a great chippy. Quick and kind service. Look forward to coming back!
