Perfect spot to refuel after going to the beach for a sandwich. Great selection of vintage candy and don’t skip the oatmeal cookies.

I go to Cheese Shop for lunch. Their sandwiches are good but really I'm there for their famous oatmeal cookies which use to be so good! Its thinner now & not cut into squares like it use to be so not worth the pit stop any longer. Though I would probably get something if I'm in the neighborhood to show support since they have been around for a while.
These guys are the sweetest! Their customer service is phenomenal, and they truly pour their heart into their work. Great hot sandwiches and candy you can’t find anywhere! Thanks!
One of our favorite sandwich spots in town. Great for lunch and a walk around La Jolla Shores and the neighborhood. The Italian shortboard is great as well as the roast pork.
