So glad we remembered Checkers as really good German food. We both had the daily special, Hunter's Schnitzel and it was delicious! Great ambiance with excellent service. Going back soon.

The food was very very very good! The coconut shrimp was excellent and so was everything else. Pleasant outdoor dining. The service was lacking a little bit tonight, but they were busy and appeared to be short staffed. The girls did the best they could and were very nice. Highly recommend.
A great place, friendly staff. A good selection on the menu. I had the jaeger roast beaten and it was fantastic. The soup was chicken and rice and was great too
Although the fish fry and sides are very tasty, the last 2 times we have dined here, it took an hour to get our meal! Waitress said they were slammed with Carey out orders. Really? Shouldn't the customers that took the time to drive and dine at the establishment (and therefore supporting the wait staff) come first?
