Simple, excellent, well cooked food. The restaurant is a quirky but lovely space. The hosts are genuinely welcoming, friendly and clearly excellent at what they do. I'd take a detour off the A9 to get here! We popped in during the afternoon to ask about gluten free options and we were struck by the owner's friendliness, so that was the decision made! We had kebabs and the wee one had pizza, with hummus to start. Everything was delicious - we suspect the hummus was made there and then, and the accompanying bread was soft, light and very tasty. Our kebabs were succulent and tasty, and the owner advised regarding accompaniments (rice vs chips etc). Go for the rice - it's gorgeous. Our daughter's pizza was made with lovely homemade dough with a decent amount of topping. She had ice cream to finish and again we suspect it was homemade. Gluten free is no problem (just let them know and avoid the bread-based dishes). It's BYOB which is always good. What a great find!
Stunning food. Especially If you are vegetarian or vegan, this is the restaurant for you. The mezeh was gorgeous and came with freshly made flat bread which was out of this world. The owner is so friendly and accommodating. Such a welcome change from typical British food. They have fantastic lunch specials too.
Great place to dine and spent time with family and friends. The owner is gritting every guest and make sure you feel special. Food fresh and tasty made to order by the owner himself. We spent wonderful time there and definitely will come back!
This quaint Persian restaurant is fantastic. The owner could not be nicer / more hospitable and the food is absolutely delicious. Visiting from California, we were surprised to find a Persian restaurant in a small Scottish town but couldn't be happier to have found this little gem. Highly recommend stopping by for a tasty meal and experience. Be sure to talk to the owner for his recommendations.
