First time here, and a recommendation from a friend. I ordered the Midwest and was pleasantly surprised when I took my first bite. The bread was perfectly warm and the flavor of everything in between was delicious. Quick friendly service with average prices. Only sandwiches to go when I was there.

I placed an order for a sandwich at 7:54 pm I arrived at the restaurant at 8:07pm. I even called the store to let them know I arrived. A female employee told me it was almost ready and would be right out. I even had time to help an unlucky customer jump start his vehicle. I headed inside after an hour. I showed the cashier my online order, advised him that an hour had passed and still no food. He proceeded to point at a stack of orders on the shelf by the wall, and said \oh...it's right there.\ No apology. His indifference just annoyed me so I asked for a refund. His dismissive response was that he had to had to the back of the store and that I didn't need to wait. I advised him that I wasn't going anywhere until I got a refund... after all I waited an hour for a sandwich. He then proceeds to throw the sandwich away in front of me, and heads to the back to issue my refund. I love Cheba Hut and I get the rather laid back vibes here. HOWEVER, there is a huge difference between laid back and utter indifference.
Food was on point! This location is open later which is a bonus as well. They have a nice bar with a good variety of drafts to choose from. Nice atmosphere with great people to be around. The subs are huge but wish they added just a little bit more meat to the biggest ones. 3 different types of bread to choose from and free refills from the fountain drinks is a nice touch. After a smoke ride, this is the best place to stop when you have the munchies, then take another smoke ride when you leave!
Amazing food, highly recommend. Ordered in phone and they delivered to the car outside of the store. Easy and safe process.
A staple in every Arizonan diet. My fave place for toasted subs, I absolutely love the Jamaican red is my go to.
