Could not fault my experience as a day case patient on Lancaster ward all the staff were excellent. My consultant Dr Richard Jones was excellent also found him to be very kind, professional, and understanding. He is certainly experienced in his field. He made me feel that I was in very capable hands. Would not hesitate to recommend the hospital to others. A big thank you to everyone

I am now three months post operation for a total knee replacement. The surgery was excellent. I had no immediate or subsequent complications. Then the hard work of recuperation and rehabilitation begins! I am very pleased to say that this task has been a pleasure since I have been under the excellent care of my physiotherapist, Charlotte (Charley) Brown. She is a complete professional, yet has a warm and relaxing approach. I can't thank her enough for literally getting me back on my feet. I walked more than four miles yesterday!

Had an appointment with Professor Bhatti for ultrasound on my hand as part of diagnosis for various hand problems. Excellent consultation. Was seen on time and was listened too. Full explanation of diagnosis and time for a bit of laughter too. The only downside were the taps. I had to wash the gel off my hands and the taps were like something from the 1920s. No elbow levers there I’m afraid. Some investment needed in an otherwise high tech department.

Thank you to all the wonderful and genuinely caring staff in the Chester Ward and ICU who looked after me at the beginning of January following open heart surgery. The care was excellent at all times. My surgeon Mr Hasan did a great job with the operation and was excellent at explaining everything before and after.
