A nice medieval castle that gives you a good view of Chaves from the top. It costs 1 to enter the museum inside, which denotes the history. The garden is very nice and well maintained.
Chaves in general is a beautiful place. It's a mixture of modern and old world and has a little bit of everything for everyone. The castle isn't awe inspiring but the gardens are beautiful and the views magnificent. The castle itself houses military memorabilia from different eras. It only costs 1 to have a look around.
