Been a regular here for years and always loved the food but the standards have dropped massively in the last few months. Final nail in the coffin tonight. Fried rice was blackened and tasted like off beef, grease off the chips dripping through the bag, chips looked like they had been cooked a few times to keep them warm. Curry tasted like it was from a packet. Cannot believe how bad it was compared to how it was 6 months ago. Do yourselves a favour and avoid just put mine in the bin

Good sized fish in nice batter. Love the chips from here really crispy and nice.
This is my second visit to Chaus, first occasion waited over 50 minutes as they kept taking phone orders, but food was okay. Second occasion waited again as they kept taking food orders, got home and an item was missing and my chips were very pale so gave my meal to the dog. Hit and miss in my opinion and the wait is far too long.
