I recently moved to the area and was looking for a new driving instructor and I am so glad I found Charlotte. I really like the way she explains things and found her to be a calming presence. She really took the time to try and calm my nerves and take things at my pace. I would highly recommend Charlottes Automatic Driving School.

I would like to say a big thank you to Charlotte, for her understanding and patience in teaching me to drive. learning is difficult for me as I cope with aspergers.I cant fault this instructor one bit, I know if I wasn't moving away to a different area for uni I would have got to test with her, would always recommend Charlottes Automatic Driving School.
Charlotte was great! Highly recommend. She is very understanding and patient. Explains things clearly and encourages you to ask questions if you don’t understand something. Charlotte gave me a lot of confidence as I’m from Canada and was terrified of driving on the opposite side to what I’ve been used to my entire life. Thank you Charlotte for helping me become more comfortable sitting in a drivers seat in the UK and being on the roads! All your tips and advice have helped me more than you can imagine. Charlotte knows I’ve got a little one on the way and she was kind enough to offer any more lessons if needed with the baby in case I wasn’t comfortable taking baby out alone in the car. Thank you again! ️
Bossy, horrible. As other people have said her reputation is known around Lichfield. Avoid avoid avoid.
I initially had a lesson with Charlotte a number of months ago. On the first lesson I was very happy with the way it went as I can be nervous and she did go through what we would do and it all sounded very good. On the next lesson she asked me for payment upfront which was okay but then I handed her a cheque which she rejected stating she only takes cash and bank transfers. before my first lesson she had sent me some guidelines and stated she accepted cheques or cash as payment. she then seemed to completely forget anything i mentioned in the first lesson and proceeded to ask me a couple of times if i was nervous or just didn’t understand - like i said, i’d previously emphasised how nervous i was and how although i had driven previously i needed to go back to basics on quiet roads. i got so upset i wasn’t concentrating and as soon as i walked into my house i burst out crying because she had been so abrupt with me. She also did not ask if i wanted another lesson and just kept booking them in for me which I had never asked her to do and I would like to be asked if i would like another lesson. Avoid this driving instructor at all costs!
