I really was just trying to find a way to retract my former compliment. I did not find a way to do so on my iPhone, so I simply changed it until there is a way to delete it. I tanned at South Beach for years, was hired, then promoted to management. I loved that store like it was my home. I hired someone that seemed hard working and trust worthy at the time. Needless to say, she not only sabotaged my name (and heart for the salon) but has made regular high paying customers as well as new ones feel completely alienated and uncomfortable. I wish I could still support this company, because I truly did love it dearly. Best of luck.

I have been coming here for years, and have almost have always have a great experience. Lately though (as of 2021) there is an older woman working at this location who is just having a really bad day, every single day. I have tried to be friendly with her and get on her good side, but she is so incredibly rude that I am finally considering going elsewhere just to not have to deal with her anymore. Unfortunately she is working almost every time I come in now, maybe she's the manager? It's amazing how one person can really just ruin your day. After several months of poor customer service, I'm ready to go elsewhere.

First, I'll say that this place is very clean and the beds seem to be in good condition. Good selection of lotions. However, the older lady who works here (I think is the mamager) is 24/7 grumpy. Sometimes I go out of my way to drive all the way to the Stonecrest location just to avoid having to see her. The other girl who works here is extremely friendly and nice, but she's just one person. My issue I think is just the overall lack of personable customer service. Every time you go in they act as if they've never seen you before in their entire life. And I'm just not used to that especially because the place I used to go before I moved here was the exact opposite. So I sort of expect a little more friendliness. But overall the beds do the job. However, the website says they have aromatherapy options but they don't. Which is a bummer.

I came here with a groupon for a month of tanning and spray tan paid in full.. I stood at the counter for 5 min in front of the lady before she spoke to me... I told her I had a groupon.. she says I have an account balance of 77 of 3 months tanning that I never used... I tried to cancel over the phone because I was in Pennsylvania... They said I could only cancel in person and obviously there's no south beach tan in Pennsylvania.... Also I'm pretty sure the whole city was in lockdown over Covid 19 when they tried to charge me.... Who would pay for 3 months of tanning they never used just to use a groupon that they just paid for..? The manager was just nasty towards me.. the WORST customer service. Seems to me that it would be better business to just start on a clean slate and let me pay today for services I will use in the future... Btw, the lotions are a scam... You get tanner if you don't use lotion.

This is where I can and I absolutely love it the ladies that work there are absolutely professional and lovely the prices are great and some of the best lotions for the best prices are there as well I definitely recommend this place to all.

This location has an employee with one of the nastiest attitudes I've ever experienced from someone in a customer service role. I'm sure anyone who has tanned here has encountered her. She's older (maybe 50s-60s) and has a permanent sneer on her face. First off, she parks her car directly in front of the store in one of the few spots reserved for short term parking (this is a big deal because the parking lot here is small and fills up quickly. I've had to park off site before because the lot was full, but her car was front and center.) Next, she acts as if she is doing you the worlds biggest favor by interacting with you. She rolls her eyes and gets aggravated and makes snide comments under her breath over the simplest things. The computer is going slow? Somehow that's MY fault! She seems to take pleasure in making people wait. I got there exactly *1* minute prior to them opening and she pursed her lips and held up her index finger at me through the (locked) door. She then occupied herself with something else and didn't open the door until 11:01. Obviously intentional. On another occasion there was a new customer ahead of me in line. The customer had no idea what she wanted and basically needed a crash course in how to tan. The employee was totally unhelpful, just giving short answers that didn't help the woman at all. After about 5 minutes of this the woman looks back at me apologetically and suggests that the employee quickly check me in so I can go about my tan. The employee just sneers and says "no she can wait." The customer looked mortified. I've been a patron of South Beach for years and have tanned at all 3 of their Charlotte locations. Overall I love the franchise, but I have had such a negative experience at this particular location that I will be taking my business elsewhere.

This salon is by far the best I've been to. I travel with my job and have been to many all across the US. I love the manager! She is wonderful! Love the fact that she's always showing me new lotions to try!! This salon is exceptional as far as cleanliness! All of the ladies in there are very helpful and very nice!! The beds are high quality and amazing!! Honestly, I can't find not one flaw about this salon! Hands down!! Love love love this place!!! Like I said I've been to many across the US and if anyone don't like this place its something wrong with them!!
