We went on a Tuesday night to celebrate a birthday. The restaurant is practicing safe distance by not filling up tables and spacing groups out. Masking wearing was seen by all staff and customers unless eating or drinking. Our group was a total of 4 and we enjoyed the live cooking and entertainment by the chef! Everything was delicious, the soup, salad, fried rice, fried noodles, steak, shrimp, scallops, and chicken. The shrimp sauce and ginger sauce is good.

LOVED IT! We found this wonderful place on a busy, crowded Saturday night full of celebrations. Even though it was packed, the service was calm, friendly and polite; food was well-prepared and delicious!! Our server Maylynn is exceptional. She remembered everything we ordered and came back often to check on us.
My husband and I were visiting from Dallas, and decided to give Red Ginger a try. It was so good. Our Hibachi chef Mike was great. The food tasted amazing. If we ever make it back to Charlotte, we will definitely be coming back!
Probably the most fun I have ever had at a Japanese restaurant cook was amazing and the food was fabulous. Its definitely a restaurant everyone should try.
I made reservations for my Birthday, I called to confirm... All set right? Wrong, when I arrived with my party of 10, hostess could not find my reservation. So, I'm just going to show up to a with a party of 10 without reservations??? Well I wasn't the only one that had issues with my reservations, there was a about 40 to 50 people waiting to be seated. Guest were very frustrated, after waiting an hour to be seated (with reservations )... it was a mad house. Luckily I was able to book a reservation at Hawkins... Everything happens for a reason, because my experience at Hawkins was the complete opposite. Hawkins saved my Birthday! I would NEVER recommend Red Ginger. But they wouldn't care less...
