This shop has always been good. Now it is under new management. My last purchase was good except the chips seemed a little underdone. Also, using trays is a no no for me. They make the chips soggy. Please use paper as before.

I would give no stars if i could . This is sposed to be 3 portions of fish. Absoult joke . Chips i spat out as they were like rubber. First and last time. If id have opened the box before id left i would have thrown it at them. Ridiculous.

This has to be the Very Best chippy in Urmston and possibly Manchester. The fish and the chips are cooked to perfection. The fish is so tasty I absolutely love it, the batter is perfect nice and crispy no soggy bits. The chips are cooked in a good oil and they are always fresh tasting. You are served fish chips in a box with a carton of peas inside. I have never had a bad meal since the New owners have taken over. Everything I have had has always been freshly cooked from pies, sausages etc and they have 3 types of curry. The portion sizes are big sometimes I struggle to eat the full meal but I force myself because it’s so tasty. I have given them maximum 5 stars but I wish I could of given the 10/10

Not had food from here in ages...and it was so, so good. After a cold and muddy walk in the morning, this was everything I needed. Chips were well cooked. And the fish! Soft, flaky, tasty and the batter was exceptional. Awesome. I am well happy now!

We got fish, chips peas and chinese curry X 2 tonight, the chips peas and curry were good but the fish was very greasy and the batter wasn't cooked inside, the batter was raw and white and the fish was very dry. We're really dissatisfied as we read all the reviews and expected a really good meal, very very disappointed, was expecting more. Charlie's fish and chips, thank you for your quick response, and kind offer its much appreciated, will call in next week for our meals, once again thank you for your time in helping us. Thanks Fiona for sorting this out for us, the pudding, chips, peas and gravy were spot on. Will definitely be calling again, really nice.
