Lovely staff, very friendly with pets and my cat (@figiel.gajer) was allowed too :-) Camping site: Facilities need to be updated but it's only new place so they were doing lots of work to make the place more comfortable so watch this space :-)

Met friends there from all corners of the UK making use of the camping field and had a lovely time. So relaxed with it's countryside style setting and such a wonderful welcome at the onsite pub added to the experience. I would definitely recommend.

Plenty of parking. Looks a nice country pub. I wouldn't say they were particularly welcoming as we walked in. Pub nearly empty and no hello or nothing. Orders taken, 2 mixed grills. Meals came. Then 2 mins later they realised they were a fried egg short on one plate. First thing I noticed was, I had 4 meats. 5 on the menu. My partners was the same but she had 3. I queried it and ended up arguing because the bar man kept counting the sausage as a meat. I said no sausage is separate. After a bit i pointed to the sausage on the menu to say ,look its separate. I then noticed it said 2 sausages. We both had 1 each. Then the girl from behind the bar said , oh yeah we got no lamb. I said well shouldn't you have told us before we bought it. She said nothing. He said ill go get the sausage and chicken. He came back and said we just cooking the chicken. We had eaten a fair bit when the chicken and sausage came. The outside of the chicken was tough and rubbery , and the sausage was a cheap Iceland sausage that you wouldn't give to your dog. At the end when paying, no apology no good will gesture nothing. Very disappointed. Wont be going again.
