If you enjoy a good steak and great service this is the place for you. We sat in the Library area so we could hear the piano player. Our waiter was a true professional who was there when needed but extremely unobtrusive and by no means pushy. He was helpful and charming with great suggestions and was a person who knew the menu and added to the experience. If you want a great steak experience this IS the Place in Irvine. Vegans need not apply.

I was disappointed. I hadn't had Charley's in a long time. I mean it was so bland. I don't think the meat was even seasoned. I also got loaded fries. It was ok. I probably won't eat charley's again.

Last week was the first time we visited this fine restaurant. But It is surely not the last. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the excellent service, with the excellent meal and wine and with the comfortable payment. We will no doubt visit there in a short time.

So disappointed with the loaded fries. Tasted like pasteurized cheese sprayed out of can, bacon bits from a plastic container from a market and frozen fries that hadn't fully defrosted or softened. After 1 bite, i took them home, scrapped off as much as the 'canned' cheese and replaced with real cheese. Still not great. One worker came in the back, still in his jacket, put on gloves and started working. Hey, people, it's a pandemic! Dang, at least don't look like you just jumped outta' your car, realized you were late for work and start prepping food!! Never again. Sorry, Charley.

Sooo good. I'm upset I had never heard of this place before. Their food is amazing, the service is spectacular, and the overall experience was out of this world! Thank you for the great experience, I'll definitely be back!

The Buffalo Chicken Sub is pretty great. The fries are good as well Best chain restaurant hot subs IMHO. Jersey Mike's has the best fast food cold subs from what my experiences have been.
